Facebook Custom Tabs – iFrames

Helpful things to know about facebook iFrames “custom tabs” To add a custom tab to your facebook page follow this link and select [add static HTML to a page], or search “iframe” After  you have added it to your page, go back to your page and select “edit” from the left hand column. You will now see all the settings and resource options.  Now Select Apps. Here you will see all the Apps you have added including the static html iframe app. If you select “edit settings’ under that app you can change how its name appears in your pages tabs. By default it’s “welcome”. Now select view page. On the left column you can see your tabs, you may need to select the more option to see you new custom tab. Select your new tab.  The FAQ and Help Center button at the top of the tab will help you with your setting and offers some explanation of how it functions. Code put directly into the top box can be seen by anyone.  Code in the bottom box can only be seen by fans (people who like you) (You could place a coupon or special offer in the bottom box with a “like me” for a special offer message in the top box) By default the tab area is 520 pixels wide by 800 pixels tall.
